The installation ceremony of the first Board of Directors the Asian Society of Cryosurgery was held on 26th May 2012 at the banquet hall, Tianha Complex, Guangzhou in the presence of more than 200 world renowned oncologists and medical specialist. The ASC’s Board of Directors led by the president Prof. Yueyong Xiao took oaths of office before the two installing officials, Prof. Kecheng Xu and Prof. Sajio Sumida.

After the installation ceremony, Prof. Nikolai N Korpan, the president of the International Society of Cryosurgery (ISC) representing the ISC and Prof. Yueyong Xiau, representing ASC, signed the memorandum of cooperation with Prof. Kecheng Xu and Prof. Sajio Sumida as the two witnesses. The memorandum of cooperation between the two societies will see the sharing of information and development in cryoablation technologies.   Prof. Nikolai N Korpan is also the chief advisor of ASC while Prof. Sajio Sumida is the president of the Japan Society for Low Temperature Medicine who is also an honorary president of ASC.

The memorable evening concluded with a sumptuous dinner.
