About Asian Society of Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery has been used as an alternative treatment for several decades. This technology has undergone rapid advancement in recent years due to the increase awareness of the benefits such treatment has brought upon the patients. In fact cryosurgery has been widely accepted as one of the effective alternative treatments in Europe and America. With the dedication of medical professionals, cryosurgery has gained substantial development in Asia. Cryosurgery has been proven effective in the treatment of of unresectable tumors. It also brings about reduction in metastasis and improvement in the quality of life for patients.

The need to establish a platform in Asia for all medical professionals in the field of cryosurgery to meet and share their knowledge and experience for the enhancement of cryosurgery in Asia had long been felt. With the establishment of the Asian Society of Cryosurgery, society members will be able to exchange and obtain the most recent development and findings in cryosurgery. We believe that our society, with the platform it provides, will act as the catalyst in the advancement and practice of cryosurgery which will
bring great benefits to patients.

Conferences and training sessions on cryosurgery and treatments involving cryogenic technology will be held by the Society or by partners or associates of the Society. Joint researches are also greatly encouraged by the Society, With the Society providing a platform for a wide network of medical professionals around Asia, it will greatly enhance Societyʼs members and participating institutions to secure funding and advices for the research they carry out.

Objectives of the Society:

To promote, develop, sustain and share the knowledge of cryogenic technologies for therapeutic and conservative aims in biology and other medical sciences.

To gather all information on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of any pathologies in both human and veterinary that maybe treated through cryogenic technologies.

To create and increase the opportunity for experts of cryogenic medical field who share the same vision stated above, or who are interested in the same cause to gather and to keep in contact with one another.
