Announcement of the Seventh Asian Society of Cryosurgery’s Leadership Transition
Dear colleagues in the field of cryotherapy and ASC members:
The Asian Society of Cryosurgery (ASC) has seen rapid development and remarkable achievements since its establishment in 2012. The 6th ASC leadership change meeting was held in Beijing on December 24, 2022, where Professor Wang Hongwu was elected as the new president of the 6th ASC academic committee. During this period, we organized the 7th and 8th academic annual conferences in Beijing and Medan, Indonesia, respectively, and conducted extensive and in-depth academic exchanges and collaborations among members, achieving significant results.
According to the ASC constitution, each term lasts for two years. A new leadership transition meeting is scheduled for the end of this December to form a new academic committee and appoint the president, vice-president, standing committee members, and youth committee members for the 7th ASC.
From today, ASC is recruiting outstanding members who are currently engaged in cryotherapy work from all over Asia. If you meet the ASC membership criteria and are interested in joining us to promote the development of the ASC, you can now fill out the application form. The application form can be downloaded from the ASC official website (http://www.asiancryosurgery.org), or you can obtain it through email consultation. Please send the completed application form to us via email. The official ASC email address is ascryosurgery@163.com.
Please note that the term of the 6th ASC members is coming to an end. Those interested can continue to apply for membership in the 7th ASC. According to the ASC regulations, members who are no longer engaged in cryotherapy will not be retained. Vice-presidents who have served two terms and standing committee members who have served three terms will not be eligible to apply for the same position but can apply for new positions. However, they also need to fill out the application form and send it to the ASC official email address, ascryosurgery@163.com, for review and approval by the leadership transition committee before they can become members of the new ASC. We will carefully review and look forward to your joining our family.
The deadline for the recruitment of new members is 24:00 Beijing time on October 31, 2024. Experts who wish to join are requested to send their application forms by the deadline. Current members who fail to submit their application forms by the deadline will be deemed to have automatically waived their membership.

第七届亚洲冷冻治疗学会换届通知
尊敬的冷冻治疗领域的同仁、ASC会员们：
亚洲冷冻治疗学会（Asian Society of Cryosurgery,ASC）自2012年成立以来持续快速的发展并取得了非凡的成就。ASC第六届换届会议于2022年12月24日在北京召开选举产生了以王洪武教授为主席的新的第六届ASC学术团体，并广泛吸纳了来自亚洲地区从事冷冻消融的优秀成员，在此期间开展了大量的高质量的学术活动，分别在北京和印尼棉兰组织了第七届和第八届学术年会，会员之间进行了广泛、深入的学术交流和合作，取得了显著的成绩。
根据ASC学会的章程，每届学会任期为两年，今年12月底将举行新一届的换届会议，成立新的学术委员会，任命第七届亚洲冷冻治疗学会主席、副主席、常务委员、委员以及青年委员。
自即日起，ASC面向全亚洲冷冻治疗领域的专家招募正在从事冷冻治疗工作的优秀成员，如果您符合ASC入会条件有意加入共同推动ASC学会的发展，现在就可以填写表格申请加入。申请表格可以从ASC官方网站下载（http://www.asiancryosurgery.org），您也可以通过邮件咨询的方式获取。填好的申请表格通过邮件的方式发送给我们。ASC官方邮箱地址为ascryosurgery@163.com。
需要注意的是，第六届ASC成员任期即将结束，有意者可继续申请担任第七届ASC成员，按照ASC章程规定不再从事冷冻治疗的工作者不再留任，副主席满2届者、常务委员满3届者不再申请担任同一职位、可申请新职务，但是也需要重新填写申请表格发到ASC官方邮箱地址为ascryosurgery@163.com，经换届委员会审查通过后方可担任新一届的ASC会员。我们将认真审查并期待您加入我们的大家庭。
新一届会员招募的截止日期为北京时间2024年10月31日24时，请有意愿加入的专家一定按期发送申请表格。逾期未提交申请表格的现任会员将视作自动放弃会员资格。
