Zhou fangjian, MD, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology, Cancer Center, Sun Yat-Sen University. Prof Zhou received his Master and Doctor degree in Hunan Medical College, Central South University in 1987 and 1992. Since 1994, Zhou worked as an associate professor at Xiangya Hospital, Hunan Medical College. Zhou visited the Department of Urology, Hokkaido University School of Medicine as Clinical Fellow in 1992 and 1998. When Zhou coming back to China at 1999, he established the Department of Urology in Cancer Center, Sun Yat-Sen University and has holding the position of professor and chairman from then on. Zhou has rich experience in the field of general urology and urological oncology. He has modified in many aspects the technique of radical cystectmoy, ielal neobladder and Bricker, with less complications and improved clinical outcome in more than 400 cases (ileal neobladder in more than 300 cases and Bricker in about 100 cases). Zhou published more than 100 papers, some of which has been published in CEBP, Urol-oncology and Urology. Zhou has great interest in the research on Bladder cancer, Kidney cancer and Prostate cancer.
